Focus on the Family was a major part of growing me up in my late 20s and on. I would wake early in the morning before I went to work, put the cassette in my radio, and tape the program. I still have probably over 100 programs on cassettes, and they were so meaningful to me. They radically changed the way I thought and healed my life in so many ways as a believer. It moved me on to learn about the dynamics of marriage, family, children, and relationships. Focus on the Family was a "parent" that taught me healthy content. I have so many books that I just cherish, and Iâll never let go of them. They're timeless.
PreviousDear Shirley, Ryan, and Danae: Although I have lived on Cape Cod (New England) for many years now, I have very often reflected on the twelve-plus years I worked so closely with Dr. Dobson as head of Focus on the Family Films, eventually earning his personal friendship. It was always an honor to not only work with and for him for so many years on a multitude of projects as well as being a guest on his radio program, but an honor to to call him a friend and mentor. I was saddened to hear of his passing, yet joyful in the Lord to KNOW that James Dobson is with his Lord and Savior and has heard those words for which he longed - "Well done, good and faithful servant!" Lovingly and respectfully, Bob Garner
